Since those are Ram Air "restoration" manifolds and they breathe better than factory "D" ports you might want to keep them over the headers. If those are Ram Air manifolds then they would be round ports, as all Ram Air heads were round port which are not interchangeable with D port manifolds. If he has 6X heads they are "D" port manifolds........ So they are Ram Air "reproduction" manifolds not factory, I see now.

This is my door speaker setup, I had to space them out a bit because the magnet was hitting the window track a little. But boy it's very clear and close to the ears.

Thanks for the encouragement,,,but i'm not worried, my frame is solid even on the top where the bushing meets the body. The body metal is pretty thin to begin with, I've already checked the frame out.
