Hello Gbody forum
I am finally upgrading my front suspension. I have a 402 big block and everything suspension in the front is stock. I was considering doing a coilover setup with the tubular A arm I got from UMI. Was wondering if I should do it or not. I do not drag or autocross my car. I only...
I have new two tone side molding and was wondering how to remove them. I talked to a body guy I'm friendly with and he said the one piece for the door you need to remove the door panel to remove the chromish molding.
I just watched online an episode of Overhaulin with an older gentlemans 1982 Chevy El Camino. They turned the from of it into a camaro front from the 60's. They did the same to the rear with the lights in the tailgate. Its an interesting modification they did to it. From a scale from 0-10 I'd...
I am looking for tubular a arms and I have 4 different companies in mind I was debating about.
UMI Performance, Spohn performance, global west and trz. what one do you recommend? The tubular a arms are going to be going on my big block 86 El Camino. My El Camino is a cruiser and not a road or...
I own the 209 piece craftman socket set. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a place that sells a socket holder that can hold most if not all the sockets in my set. I would say around 200 or so sockets.
Thanks
I have been going to this show for the last 4 years. This show is not your typical muscle car show. This gets all different types of cars from imports, lowrider trucks, lifted trucks and muscle cars. This show easily get over 300 cars. I would love to get a group together and cruise down to the...
The picture above show the lower side molding. I am looking for the front wheel well that extends the whole length of the fender. I found multiple places to buy the rear wheel well, but not one place that sells the front. Anyone know were to buy it?
For Christmas I got a rear bumper for my El Camino. It is the one without the pad holes. Anyway when I was younger I backed into a wall slightly. So the rear bumpers shocks are pushed in a little. So what is the best way to pull them out.
Thanks
Hello everyone. I have been working at my first auto job at pepboys near my house. I am just starting out working and they have me in the installer portion first until I get better and more experience.
Anyway onto my question. I get tons of cars that come into the shop with wheel lock and you...
I am not a body guy or know to much other then detailing. I have talked to a few body shops and local people in my area about there gbody. Everyone has told me that the paint on are gbodies was not the best. I have to agree since my car scratches everytime I wipe it with one of those microfiber...
When ever I do a search for header paint they are all spray can. I was wondering if there was a company that you could brush on instead of painting on. My headers are in my car already and wanted to put a coat of paint on them to make them look better, but with a spray can will make a total mess.
Here is a fun game I tried before but did not work because it was winter time and most people had their Gbody car in storage. The rules are vary simple and is a lot of fun once you get into it. Also it gets you to take your car out and drive it.
Here is how the game works
1.One person will set...
Hello guys I just wanted to share something with everyone. I own my own forum (look in signature) and we had a calender contest there. So since I know a lot of people might not be aware of my forum or even go to it I though I would share it with you all. Here is the calender if you wish to buy...
As it stands today either Romney or Obama is going to win. Also most people might not even know who Gary Johnson is. Well first off I ask if you would take a look at voting Gary Johnson. Now voting third party is not a wasted vote. Your voting for the best person you feel is right for the job...
This commercial made me cry a little. This commercial got me to thinking and being even more proud to be an owner of part of chevy history. I own an 86 El Camino and love the thing. Thank you Chevy for all the years and all the Amazing cars you made! Every time I go to car shows with my El...
