Hi all. I am new to a carbureted car and new to the forum. I have an Edelbrock AVS2 on a 305 on an el Camino. I’m going to tune my idle mixture screws on the carb with my vacuum gauge. My full manifold port (drivers side) is in use, and so is my PCV port. I need that full manifold port to plug the vacuum gauge in. Should I just unplug the hose to use the port? Or tee? Or use PCV port? The PCV port actually already has a tee on it I could potentially tap into. I want to make sure I am doing this in a way to get the best results possible. Thanks!

I've always used the manifold vacuum port to tune idle air screws. Shouldn't matter to unplug what is running from it. Unplug and use for a direct reading.
