Well I am finally starting my engine build for my Regal. I will be building this 3970010 4-bolt main truck engine to replace the stock 3970010 4-bolt main truck engine that is in my Regal right now. I have a brand new SUMMIT (SCAT) crankshaft, with reconditioned rods and SpeedPro Hyper DurOshield .030" over pistons and moly rings for the rotating assembly.

Re: Starting my signature build

The heads are drilled and tapped for 3/8" screw-in ARP studs, .550" lift springs, bronze guides, 2.02"/1.60" stainless valves and hardened exhaust seat and surfaced. Also a very nice pocket port job done. All the head work was done by Scott's Porting Service here in Mooresville (208)659-5936
I didn't have them flowed, so I don't know the exact flow numbers.

Well I came home from work today and started off by painting my valve covers, timing chain cover and engine block.
