BUILD THREAD OF MY NEW RIDE!!!

Postby Wyked7sec87 on Tue Nov 24, 2009 10:54 pm

i know its not a gbody but, its just a little something i like to mess with. Its a 69 Camaro project. big project. I bought it from a junk yard and the very next day im starting to build a new chassis for it. Im doing all tube chassis, and going to be building a 540ci with twin gt4788mm Turbos and a 4 speed Lenco Trans. ford 9inch with 4:11gears. Its not much as of right now, but im just doing the chassis. its going to be a 1500hp street driven car on pump gas. Well, thats the goal so we will see if that happens! haha Enjoy the progress!

I like.... I really want one of those Cameros. But I hope you aren't gonna run those god awful 'boydster' wheels on it.

AWESOME! I have a 68 RS/SS waiting for me in the garage. Chassis looks great! 4 spd Lenco......Clutch-less. Is the throttle pedal far enough to the right? Seems like the frame is where it should be? Chrome Moly tubing? I don't mind the wheels. What are you suppose to do........put steelies on that thing?
