Those are fuel lines.. I didn't do any research but those aren't a/c ,lines.... :eek:

Judging by what appears to be a diverter valve in the middle of it, it's probably a line from the A.I.R. pump (smog pump).

EDIT: Yep, it is. I can follow it from behind the engine all the way over to where it connects to the AIR injection lines on the driver side exhaust manifold.

do i need the air pump ?? or can i just lose it completely ??

Depends, if you need to pass a smog or emission checks.

For performance you wont want 2nd-air injection
